'73-77 442 id
I know that in '73 Olds still used option code W29 to designate the 442 option. Did Olds continue to use that code through 1977?

I know that for '75 the only way you can tell if it is a 442 is by locating the W29 option code on the build sheet which is usually above the gas tank. Not sure about the rest of the years, but my guess is that it would be the same.

Yes, that was continued through 77. It was even used in 78 for the hatchback 442, after they changed the body style. That was the last year of the W-29.

Thanks, I suspected that the code was continued for a few more years, but just didn't know for sure, or when the cut off date was.
