    Header interference 73 Cutlass S

Planning to put my set of Hooker Supercomps (3107) on my 73 Cutlass S. I've been seeing some information saying that certain headers can't be used on the column shift automatics. I figure because of the backdrive shaft. I've converted mine to a floor shift but the backdrive remains because of the steering column lock. Anybody heard different or have any experience.

If it interfere's you bend the bar up some from the header, loosen the bolt on the other rod and adjust as needed.

Mine were hitting the upper control arms, so I had to dent them a little on my 74 with a 455 with hooker super comp, no problem with the steering shaft.
