    Hood to Fender rubber bushings

Any one have any leads on the 6 little rubber bumpers that push into the fenders so the hood closes right?
There are 4 slim ones and 2 thicker. The 68-69 ones look right for the thin ones and the thick one resemble the 66-67 peices. confused.....
    Thanks

    Joe-
The bumpers on page 64 of the Fusick catalog wont be the right ones?
Take a peek if you havent already.. HB70

You may have and this could be redundant.

The two rear ones would be the larger HB70 from fusick and the other four are the HB68 style.

    Thanks gentlemen.

Has anyone used these to see how correct they are and how they fit?

    Parts book #s

    for those purists out there-
From the Sept 73 parts book:
    73 A,B,C #407146 (6) (same as 70-72)
    74 All A 400250 (4) (same as 68-69)
    407146 (2)

From the April 75 book (April 83 book is the same):
    73 same
    74-75 All A 400250 (6)
74-75 All A 407146 AR (as required) 'repair'

From the Nov 75 , 1976 only book:
    76 A,E 400250 AR side and center
76 ABCE 407146 AR hood side and rear

Of course, it all depends on what the guy on the line grabbed when he put his hand in the bin

Next Nats, we'll have the judges check them..lol

    Cool Bill,

I figured you'd come along with some numbers.

Any info/numbers on 77's or would they be the same as 76? I wouldn't be surprised if the bumpers are a one year only item like some of the other 77 parts.

no 77 parts books.. I've heard many parts are identical, but GM changed the part # because they changed vendors..
it's interesting how many changes gm made just in the years our cars were made.. trying to find the 'correct ' part can drive you nuts , if you look in the parts books..
