Thanks guys, I looked on Ebay, and I can get a dual gate for $300.00, and a re-pop top plate for $75.00+ shipping. I guess I'll stick with my stock shifter for now. I cant find any stock shifter cables though, maybe I'll have some luck with one of the local Olds parts guys. Hey Bert, I checked out your Car Domain site, your 73' 442 is sweet. That's cool, a web page for your car, is that free?

Boy that top had seen better days from that 1st pic!!!

Just noticed something on that Jim, the rear trim piece, the one that is at the back of the faux roll bar and then wraps around the entire rear lower portion of the roof. It appears white?, is it truly that color or has all of the chrome worn/eroded off of it?

That is one piece of white vinyl trim, as is the one going across the front of the faux roll bar. Is this supposed to be chrome?

Yep, I've never seen any that didn't have it that way.. I called it 'chrome' trim but I guess it's really stainless trim.

    Vinyl top trim

I wondered about that trim, that kinda sucks. Now if I want to do it with the original trim, I'll have to sell my house to raise the funds. What ever it takes, (LOL).

I have some pieces that may work. They are from a 73 H/O.

Can someone post some detailed pics of the correct 74 H/O trim ?
