    I used the GM chasis restoration paint. 90 bucks for a gallon + shipping. It was a lot more work then I ever imagined. I am only about a year behind my original schedule...I guess thats why I am not a mechanic!
    Any body have any thoughts on if I should clear coat my brake & fuel lines or just polish them again???

    The covers I bought at 1AAuto.com
    I like the covers and they fit great but make sure you send in pictures of patterns and colors so you get exactly what you want. There are many variations to these sets!

    If you can, polish them out, then spray a good clear coat on them and they will last. Thats what I did, so far they still look brand new.

    Joe, you are doing a fantastic job! I can't wait to see the finished product (probably neither can you ) My 442 restoration was just over three years and that was with me doing most of the work myself. Lots of evenings, nights, and weekends!

    Thanks for the updated pics. The car is coming along great!

    BTW, definitely polish and spray clear on the lines to keep them looking new.
