Yeah Joel, VFN has them on their site. I think they are only for the 76-77's
though. I looked into it, but I though it would look funny on a 4 door.

ROB All the red is interior dye....but the gold is the first of 3 colors
for the candy apple red....
If done right it wont flake off.....unless you start scraping at
it......Mike&T2

Re: [73-77olds] Re: 'glass hood

Rob I used Dupontsv inyl dye.....you ca by it bythe quart like i do
and just spray your parts
But when you do it this way you have to plastic prep them then I usually
take a brown scuff pad and lightly sand them then plastic prep it again
and spray them.....this is the best and right way to do it.......
I did thunders 4 years ago and the interior still looks great with
a few small exceptions..
good luck.......Mike

Mike,

Did you paint your interior with standard automotive paint? Won't that flake
off the plastic?

I had them make a 73-5 mold so I could get one. See the pics in the files of
this group. I got the first 73 W25 hood! Lloyd

Mike what did you use. My 68 442 had the wrong seats when I bought it and I
found a correct set only a greenish blue. I replaced the foam and covers
myself in black like my car but the plastic trim pieces I sprayed with
Duplicolor vinyl paint and it looks fine but is pretty fragile and I have to
touch it up on occasions. I finally found a lower door panel for my 73 but
it is brown and needs to be black.

Thanks,

Rob MacKey

There is an Oldsmobile Club in Edmonton Alberta and a guy named Keith has a blue 76 with the W-30 hood that looks sweet! I am thinking of putting one on my 73 Cutlass. They look mean.
