So I know with ford, they have the "Marti Report" for $30 you get a complete breakdown of your cars build, options, and how rare it is.
Does anything similar exist at the Olds Research Center? I have no build sheet for my car, and my data tag is pretty empty.. I'm more than curious what my car *originally* came with (I don't even know what # owner I am).

I'm curious to find out myself. I've heard others not having very good luck finding info from the Olds History Center on our years. It's worth a shot though. I can't even remember how much they want per car. I think it was $50-100 each? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The history on my 442 gets non-existent in a hurry. It had a South Dakota title, was sold at Classical Gas in Colorado, shipped to Canastota NY, then sold to me. That was seven years ago. So, yeah. Classical Gas said they got it at auction and didn't know anything. I could be the 85th owner for all I know. I'd like to know more though, especially to find out why the person who ordered the car got special order paint, but no other options. I guess some things we'll never know. If anyone has had luck with the OHC though, let me know.

My 75 H/O had... A/C
that's it.
I'm curious if the buyer wanted an H/O.. or if it was a leftover at the lot..
You figure a fully loaded 442/Supreme would have been the same price as a cheap-skate equipped H/O.

Your guess would be as good as mine. I don't even have A/C. I have bolt on center cap SSIIIs though, bench seat, column shift, manual windows/ locks, non-sport steering wheel. It is as base a car as you can get. You can check it out at the cardomain link below if you want to get a better look. I would say maybe they wanted a sleeper, but it doesn't exactly blend well with traffic, and it's only a 350 car with the 2.73 rear. Your H/O doesn't exactly blend with traffic either, but at least you got the 455? Maybe it WAS a lot leftover. Damn, how cool would it be to be there that day it was picked up in 75...or 76? Regardless, it's still worth hanging on to, right?

Mine was originally a W-25 car besides.
I added the following factory options
Cruise
Rally pack gauges (although I wonder if my dash was in correct anyway)
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Rear Window Defogger, grid type
Tilt
Column Mount Dimmer Switch
Posi-traction
I think the only OEM option I'm missing is the outside temperature gauge.. However, I think that was unavailable with sport mirrors.
You could say that I could add auto temperature A/C (not sure of the term) but that's a can of worms I don't want to open. As it is, I may delete the A/C from my car as it is with a non A/C setup.

I got a pamphlet from the Olds Historical Center with my '76 that the previous owner gave me. I heard they no longer do it, but i'm not sure. I can find the contact info if you want.

I received this a couple of years ago from the Heritage Center for JWO. See below.

Thanks for the info on the OHC. I'd like to check out what they can come up with for my cars. Probably not much more than I already have, but it's worth a shot. Does anyone know if the prices have increased or if the contact info is the same?

Pretty sure the contact info Brad posted is the most current, mine had a Lansing addy if I remember correctly. I think the guy got it about 6 years ago for my car. I'd try that email inquiry and see if it's still available.
