According to vin# posted this is a 455 car. If correct, I'd say it's gotta be fairly rare. Looks pretty clean, I think 6k is a decent price for an original BB car..........No?

Looks like a Chevy air cleaner on it?
Probably not the original motor.
Just realized the vin also denotes it's a Supreme, not a Salon. I don't think they have a clue??
Sorry for the rant, but looking this over it's nicely optioned, and they don't even mention it. This may be a good find?

That air cleaner looks like Chevrolet or I've seen them on mid-80's 307's. Still, its a nice clean looking car!

1973, and I think 1974, Salon was designated J57 in the VIN as Salon was an option package for both coupes and sedans. I think they were K57 by 76 though; I'd have to check my sales books. The way to tell for sure on this one would be a pic of the front seatbacks.
Engine has been repainted. That's Corporate Blue, and that is a Chev or later generic GM aircleaner both by lid and by where the PCV breather filter mounts. I'd want #s off the block before doing anything. You don't want to end up with a 260 or 307 in there. Not saying anyone would do that...

You're right, it's a Supreme, the Salons were K57.

OK what is the deal with the steering wheel? That one does not look right.

Not sure??? Isn't it a standard cutlass steering wheel 76/77? I'm not up on 76 & 77's

The Supreme had a different steering wheel than the Cutlass S, at least in '77 but I think they were different for '76 too.
That looks like the Cutlass S wheel, but the emblem looks different than what I recall seeing before.
As a side note, I always found good cars there when I was looking. Almost picked up a '70 Ford XL but it was too much of a drive (especially when there was a Cutlass a few miles down the road!)
