Anyone get a refund check from ebay ?

I just got a refund check from ebay, something about a class action lawsuit and "final value fees".

Anyone else get one or hear anything about this ? I'm just wondering if it bogus.

I know I deserve a refund or two. Ebay is out of control.. they just whacked me for a shipping fee because I didnt offer free shipping. If you charge someone shipping, ebay wacks you. even though I shipped it myself and paid for the shipping. Not to mention they force you to use paypal when selling. the days of postal money orders are gone. because ebay owns paypal so they force you to use it and collect more fees. they are raping us!!. I cant believe that nobody has come up with a copycat site that doesnt accost people with fees. We should start one and call it G-Bay or something. it would catch on quickly.

Most of the posts here made me feel rich by comparison with my $13 plus check. If you look at the info, they tell you how much you were charged during the time they mentioned. For me, it came out to about a 10% refund. I wonder how big the yacht was that the lawyers bought with their cut.

I heard ticketmaster has a lawsuit over fee's also. I've been to quite a few concerts, so looks like I'll be getting a piece of the pie also.

Oh, I'm sure they got a boatload!!!!!, get this. I received a check the other day for a Foreign Currency fee litigation class action.. whopping $18, but, at the bottom in small print it stated there was another lawsuit pending, similar in nature if you wanted to opt out... Details were: Claims of $49.5 million have been reached, but the net settlement will be less the court awarded attorneys' fees and expenses of..... $13.875 million... about 28% to attorneys' and expenses...
