This weekend, in my Super-Sexy 77 'S', I will be installing a small 100w pioneer amp that I have had laying around to try and get a little more oomph! I typically always mount my amps in the trunk, right behind the rear seat. I know some people like to go under the seat but I never like doing it that way. Under the seat, you cant see the amp, It's harder to get at it if there is a problem and I like to keep under the seat reserved for any contraband that I may be transporting ;). Anyone got any pics of some trunk mounted amps as to give me some new ideas? I will post up pics of mine when I am done.

Mounts but not wired yet. This amp is the perfect size. Fits right between all the holes on the panel behind the seat. http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa410/70chwvrolet/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_2093.jpg

I have 2 amps in my '74. They are both horizontally mounted, and positioned on the upper part of the trunk, to the far right. The amps are stacked, but I fabbed up a bracket set to keep the upper one about an inch above the lower unit. The lowere is a Fosgate unit set up for 300 amps, and the upper is also a Fosgate, set for 150 amps. One is for the woofeers, and the other is for the 6X9's. The front 3.5" in the dash are off the radio.

Post a pic if you can. I'm having a hard time drawing it up mentally. I am only running 6x9's right now. Are your woofers mounted in a box?
