Ran across this recently. Even though it is black & white, the color of the engine has some "sheen" to it, I wonder if it was painted the 455 metallic blue for the promo pic purposes. Anyone have the pics of the 350 or 260? You can also see the tower clamps on the bypass hose. Notice too that the label on the oil filler tube is covered up.

Hey Brad!

Thanks for posting the photo. I'm looking for detailed factory/stock 350 photos too.

Photos anyone?

Kelvin, from a detailing stand point, the engine should look the same, with small exceptions like oil filler tube code and the air cleaner decal. We are all settled in our new house, let me know when you want to swing by sometime.

Yea, all the '77 Olds V/8's [no bb's] I've seen are corporate blue, gold on the sb's up till '74 and metallic blue on the '75-'76 sb's. That's a cool pic Brad.

I thought so but wanted to be sure on the 350 details. Glad you're settled in, I'll try to catch you one day I'm on that side of town.

Are you going to the NTOC Zone Meet in a few weeks?

Unfortunately not. We had already planned a trip to DisneyWorld and as it turned out, it's the same weekend as the Zone Show... oh well, plan on it next year.

Great pick Brad thanks for sharing those kind of pictures. By the way three WTOC members are headed your way for the Zone Show, but I can't be there this year. We all are planning on going to Iowa for next years nationals because it is only 800-900 miles away from Texas. Sure beats 1500 or more! You should come to Lubbock for the Blue Ribbon Rallye in April some NTOC members are always there.

I might try to come out in April. Not sure if I am going to the Nats next year, but I am thinking long and hard about making it up for the Homecoming show. Never been to it, and next summer might work out with my work schedule.

Brad, that would be cool if you could make it to the Homecoming, it's always a great show!

Yeah, I know it would be fun! Every time I see photos from the show, I always say I'm gonna go the next year. Not to mention the swap meet always looks big. Of course, not that I need more stuff in the garage... :D

Brad, The swap meet was the biggest ever last year. So big Mitchell and I didn't have time to look at all the cars. It made the swap meet at the Nationals look pitiful. We're planning on going again next year. Let us know if you decide to go. We would like to meet up with you.
