This is the first time i have found this site. Can anyone help me? I want to make it all original. Thanks. Greg

Welcome to the site. This is the first you have found this site as it is relatively new, since about March or so. Don't worry, WE have not forgotten about the 73-77s. I'm sure someone may have what you need. Post some pics of that ride of yours and good luck.

I MIGHT have a line on the plastic seat belt pieces. What color is your interior?

Welcome to the site! Most of the parts your looking for should be fairly easy to find except the dashboard. The 73-76 dash will fit, but the 77 was a 1 year only and was prone to cracking. You can have your original redone at JustDashes, but it's not cheap. The wheel well trim is hard to find in nice condition, but not impossible. The carpet is available aftermarket from ACC, etc. For some reason, 77 was 1 piece. I put new carpet in both my 76 and 77 from ACC. I ordered both for a 76 [2 piece] I'm sure they're the same floorpans, but for some reason, the carpet didn't fit as well in the 77? There's alot of good people here that can help you with your parts search and check Ebay, I've found alot on there, good luck.

How is the '77 dash different? Aside from the passenger side vents.

How is the '77 dash different? Aside from the passenger side vents.

From what I understand, they used a different material/process making the '77 dash and it wasn't as durable a the 73-76's. I don't know first hand, but I do know they did seem to crack easier than the earlier dashboards. Personally, I like the looks of the '77 better myself. As far as I know, the only physical difference is the rectangular vents [and the clock] on the passenger side, and the top. The '77 has separate speaker grills and the defrost outlets are built into the dash. The 73-75's have a [1 piece] removable upper panel for the speakers/defrost.

There are some different color NOS seat belt holders on ebay right now, look under 77 cutlass or 1977 cutlass was how I found them.

I'm in orient. and the interior is blue. i do not have the means to post pictures. i don't have a digital camera or scanner. sorry. The car is a medium blue with no half top. If the story is true when my uncle bought it new. it had one but he had it removed because of the rusting problem. he was a mechanic for olds and worked at a dealership. He died 20 yrs ago. The car sit for 14 yrs before i got it. but its saving grace was my aunt who has never had a drivers license did start it once a month and back it out of the garage. Which got the car a small dent in the pass. side door. but i do believe it saved the motor. it had 88k on it. Right now my schedule is booked but by the first of the year i hope to start on it.
