76-77 Cutlass Supreme Emblems on eBay

Nice set with a hood ornament, a trunk lock surround and both sail panel emblems. They look pretty good for used. I figure somebody could use these.

Thanks for the tip, I might purchase these. I have a question about the sail emblems, on mine both of the black parts have fallen off and only the chrome part is left. What is the best way to remove this? Is there anything special to do or do I just pry it off? What's the best way to attach the new ones?

Damn! I just replaced the trunk emblem on my 77. Stupid plastic insert fell out. I just pulled mine off, cleaned the adhesive, and replaced it using 3M double sided emblem tape. The plastic fell out of the hood ornament too, but that actually has the rocket underneath it, the trunk emblem doesn't, so I polished it up and it looks better than with the plastic.

They just pry off. There are barrel clips in the sail panel that the pins push in to. The black inserts were long gone on mine also. When I restored the car several years ago, I painted the rockets black and then clear coated them, looks pretty good. I've since aquired these same 4 pieces in nos, don't know if I'm going to install them or not. [Anyone doing a concourse resto on a 76-77 Supreme/Salon? :D ].

That would be a great buy if it stays at that price. I've seen just the hood ornaments sell for that in nice condition.

Fusicks has new reproduction emblems for almost all Cutlasses now, except for the hood ornament. They look really good. I've already put mine on my '77 and I believe they look at least as good as the original. www.fusick.com
