76 442 what size sway bar

Trying to find the right bushings for the 76 442 front sway bar.

Wondering if the 1 inch bar is the correct bar for the front?

The bushings are like 1/2 an inch taller or a little more then the bracket.

Are they supposed to compress that much?

Looks like the ones that come with bushings and brackets are flush with the bracket. But of course nobody in town has the 1 inch bushings and brackets.

Yes you have a 1" front sway bar on your 76 442. You need the bushings for the 1" bar. They compress alot when everything is installed and torqued to spec.

They didnt look like they would work but just decided to wing it and they did compress and looks good with the new bushings and sway bar links.
