new pics posted in vBGarage....
We just got her back from a friend that was helping out with the body work. Sooooooo now what? I have no idea what to do next. Any suggestions or ideas would be welcomed. I know I still need a hood and trunk, floor pans, 2 bucket seats and a bench seat, not to mention a dash.

Jen, doesn't look too bad from the pics. I've had one in about the same "state/stage" for about a year now, so I'm probably not the best choice for "inspiration". I would finish pulling the chrome/trim, if your not sure about what's under that black primer, I'd strip it back down to metal. It's kinda hard to explain bodywork over the computer, but I wish you luck with your project.

Jen, I think I would start on the interior now, after its painted thats not when you would want to be taking stuff in and out of a freshly painted car. I know of a 77 442 with a firethorne red int. and he would sell any or all of the car. Of course you would need to get red seats redone to match what I guess is your black interior and paint the console with some paint for plastic parts availible through Year One and maybe some other places as well. As for the hood I would consider the forced induction fiberglass hood like on Kens (442much) or Brads car (brad442) they really look great. Or check parts for sale 76/77 442 in the parts forum. By the way the car looks great another step closer.

Jen,
Took a look at the photos of your car. Looks like you guys have a good start. Now is the time to look into replacing the floors & truk pan. Check with Fusick or The Parts Place or The Paddock. I recommend Fusick to start with, but the other guys sell parts for our years too.
Don't give up at this point. These cars are really tough to restore, simply because of the lack of parts available. But, with patience and the folks on this website, I think you can put together a really nice car.
I have an extra dash, but it would need to be recovered as it has some slight wear and cracking.
Good luck, keep us posted as you progress.
