OK, now all forums have a topic :D. Just curious though, If you had [or have] the resources to buy a new car, what would it be? I really do like the hemi powered LX's [Magnum/Charger]. I've been a tech in Dodge stores since '92 so I'm fairly well schooled on them. If I hit the lotto I'd probably buy a new Challenger when they come out.

This is a tough question. Best bang for the buck is the Z06, hands down. Rumor has it there is going to be a 700 HP version in the works, if it isn't already. Personally, I will not downplay the 505 HP the current Z06 has. Oh, and you don't pay gas guzzler tax because they estimate 26 mpg on the highway. As far as the Challenger, I have always loved the lines of them. My father owned a 70 R/T w/335 HP 383 back in the day. The new one does a good job of incorporating all that was good about the old ones. I think they're looking at 400+ HP out of the Hemi, and they'll hook it up with the T-56 six speed if one wants. I don't think they offer the six speed in anything else but the Viper, which I never particularly cared for. So what the hell, money isn't an option...I'll have one of everything.:D

For me that would be a Chrysler 300C Touring SRT-8 please :D
Chrysler 300C is one of the rare US cars that are still sold new here. Luv that car, expecially SWs. Must be common for you, but there are not much of them in France.

I'd wait for a Challenger myself.

I haven't seen many SRT-8 versions of the 300C around, it looks pretty sharp. I like the idea that it's a four door, and you might be able to sneak it past the wife that way. (See, you can put car seats in the back for the kids!) ;) But to be honest, I think I'd much rather be driving your 75 Salon, especially when there's a good chance that you're one of the only ones in your country to own one. How much are you guys paying per liter for gas these days?

you're right, never seen any other 75 Salon here, even in car shows.
Gas is 1.26 € per liter for the moment, that means 1.72 $/l. Just a little cheaper than gold :D :D

Wow! OK, no more bitchin' from me. Well maybe a bit. We (Canada) have the second largest oil reserves in the world (about as much oil as the Indian Ocean has water), we have more than we need and export the excess. Our province (3 million people) brought in a surplus of $7 billion last year and we have no deficit nor debt to pay. So why am I paying $0.99 / L ($0.94 USD) when we produce the stuff?
