I wrote some time back about two 77 Supremes that have been parked since new. Well I have more information and need to decide what the cars are worth. I will start by sharing some details. They both have 13 miles on them. They are 403's with auto trans bench seats. One is red/red the other is wht/red. Some parts of the wht one have been removed, carb, master cyl nothing that can't be replaced. The red one is missing a door liner other then that complete. They both have rally wheels and the center caps and the trim rings are still in the packages in the trunk. The white one need a new vinyl top the red one is ok but need the rear opera window replaced and the trim all needs refinishing. From what I was told by a friend of mine that has seen the cars, the chrome is the worst part of the cars and really needs to be re-done. the interior in both is just fine though. The guy I had look at the cars is one of those perfectionist type people so I trust what he tells me. The cars haven't been started in years and I still don't know if the engines will turn over and I intend to take a trip back east to find out prior to purchase. Now the major question WHAT ARE THEY WORTH? I don't want to be them too much, but I want to be fair. The cars don't have a high value and I don't intend on keeping both and she wants to sell them together. They have never been sold or registered so I would be the original owner of both and as I said they have 13 miles on them. I have no reference point to draw a reasonable purchase price from. Any opinion is welcome. Or is there some one out there that would maybe be interested in one of them? That might help the process?

There was a `73 Supreme on ebay w/ 89 miles that sold recently for just under $14K. It was garaged since new and appeared to be a good running car. Just needed cleaned up to be a museum piece. No rechroming or other "major" work looked necessary from the pics that were posted.

For the cars you are describing, it sounds like both would need some work to get them running and into show quality shape. It helps the value that they are 403 V-8 cars. Without seeing the cars I'm GUESSING they'd be worth around $7,500 to $8,500 each. Figure you'll spend one to two grand in rechroming and getting the cars roadworthy again.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Why were they sitting so long without being used, just a wonder.

I just found out that with the two Supremes is also a 77 Toronado the same way 13 miles. I was told the Toro is the best of the group. I still would like to get the three but.........

Just for a reference point I found my 77 with 66k orig miles. It was found one owner before me in an old garage covered in a couple inches of dust. He had it for a month of good cleaning and sold it to me. I picked it up for 6k. It is triple black with the red pin striping and console shift. The chrome isn't show but it is very good for its age. It was parked for 17years and I drove it from Toledo Oh to Kansas city to get it home. It even passed inspection. I did have to stop for the tranny front seal half way home but that wasn't so bad. The guys who did the work let me under the car while it was on the lift. You will have seals and gaskets to replace on near everything mechanical. If you have the work done it will cost you more than doing it yourself of course. If you are taking all three cars I would start 7k per cutlass and 8k for the toronado. Then sell one of the Supremes to get the other 2 going.

I say 5000.00 a piece tops these are going to need work. If chrome is gone then there was moisture in storage place. Most likely brakes and all seals are toast. Photos would help
