Well, you guys up north, it's your turn to be snarky about the weather. I remember earlier this year when you were complaining about the cold and some of us down here were bragging on our spring-like temps. Son of a Birch, it is pure hell here now. As I type this, it is 100 degrees outside with a heat index of 106. With this being only June, I can only imagine what our July and August will be.

Haha, ditto in the Dallas-Fort Worth area!
When you see the sun sippin' on a keg sized iced tea, it's friggin HOT!

Yea, we've had a few warm days here in MI, but I'm not complaning. It's seems it's either feast or famine around these parts.

Mid and upper 90s in North Georgia the last week or so. Ten to fifteen degrees above normal for this time of year. Very dry too. No significant rain in about a month.

Hasn't been that hot here (yet). Humid, yes, but mid 80's-low 90's.
Heat index of 106, people here would cease to function. A couple of days in the mid 90's you would think the world is ending.
Beats shoveling stupid snow.

It was at least 97 degrees here today. Way hotter at work but it sure does beat the frigid cold!

If it stays like this much longer, I will tend to agree with your people on the world ending. I just can't imagine having to face 2 more months of 100 degree weather. I know we have had Augusts where the temp stayed that high but never had it like this early.

All I do is just think about this:

It took the city a week to get to my street.
Honestly, with the temps your having, be careful. The heat can kill you. Drink lots of water.

Looking to hit 95 up here tomorrow. They think it will break the record. Ought to be interesting nonetheless. Definitely no complaints here though, bought time spring started!

Your pictures make a valid point. Suddenly the heat does not seem all that bad.

That round was about 18". We got over 2' on that storm.
Every few years we get a really big storm like that. Normally the worst we get is 8-10".
Yesterday 92 and very humid. Drank over a gallon of water at work yesterday.
