I had my car on the alignment rack today. The technician says my rear end is twisted and it might dogleg down the road? Is this possible? I know my old Nova did, but it had leaf springs, not control arms.
The car was in an accident before I got it. I had the frame pulled. But, how the heck did the rear end get twisted? Anyone out there have any good and cheap ideas?:(
The car is my 76 Cutlass S four door.

The axle tubes could be out of alignment in relation to each other and the pumpkin. I'm guessing the internal pieces are probably okay, and you might be able to get buy with picking one up at the salvage yard, and swap in your old internal pieces. Double check that the frame is straight first, no sense going through all the effort if that is a factor.
