I see it more on fords but you might want to look at the turn signal switch in the steering column. If flasher, 4 ways works it seems to me it must be the turn indicator switch, they usually are made of plastic and the get brittle and break, not able to make contact and activate the the desired blinker. You will have to pull the steering wheel, then take a look at the switch.

Are you sure the flasher is good? There are two flashers, one for the hazzards and one for the turn signals. The turn signal flasher is hid up behind the dash to the left of the steering column.

is it by all the fuses or is it by itself? i changed the one with all the fuses

The flasher in the fuse panel is for the hazzards. The turn signal flasher is up behind the dash to the left of the steering column. If you remove the trim panel under the column you can reach up and get to it, it's held in place with a clip retainer near the front side of the dashboard.

Great, this fixed my problem as well. I've been trying to figure mine out since last August. No more manually flashing for me.
