I just ordered A FAST EZ fuel injection kit for my 74 442
Uncle Sam delivered my Tax return and I have always wanted EFI, so what the hell, I went for it.
I did alot of research on the subject and couldn't find any bad reviews, only happy customers.
They don't produce alot of extra HP but they do make a little extra torque and thats what you feel in the seat.
And the thought of a perfect air/fuel ratio for every situation , better mileage and a cleaner running engine sound good.
Pics of install coming soon...

Cool.. i've always wanted to do this. What made you go with this system instead of the others out there and do they give you two O2 sensors for dual exhaust?

The FAST system is made by Comp.Cams and they had good reviews from everyone using the system.
I went with them because they were the only one that said it will work with any cam, I have a monster Engle cam in my car.
The system is self learning and the more you drive the better it gets.
As for the O2 sensor they only provide 1, I guess they think the exhaust should be the same on both sides if your motor is good.
But you have me thinking, It wouldnt be a bad idea to have one on the other side to keep an eye on things, maybe with a switch to toggle between the 2 ?
There's a guy on Classic olds (Cutlassefi ?) thats good with these things, maybe I will ask him, is he a member of this site ?

That guy is a member here. That self learning FAST set up has a good reputation. I've been reading up on it, I want a couple of them. If you drive your car alot it should pay for itself in better gas mileage before too long.

I'm interested as well to hear how it worked out. What compression & cam you running? Did you have engine dyno'd? What kind of hp you running? Is this a new engine? What carb did you have on it before? What is the difference you found on mpg?

The underside looks clean!
