This car has been for sale for a few years now. I have actually seen the car in person. Not my cup of tea, but that paint is unbelievable. That is a great color.

I kind of like the painted bumpers, but then again I painted the bumpers on my '77 because the chrome was peeled and I could not find good one's anywhere. The interior is awful, IMO, and for $25,000 I would at least expect to have grills installed. And I thought all 455's would have a Turbo 400, not a Turbo 350.

Numbers matching? Must be the only 77 with a 455 from the factory, very rare.
I've only had one brief encounter with Gateway and it was far from good. They had a car that my friend had redone and sold here in Dallas, a 73 Grand Prix. I contacted them to make arrangements to get some additional pictures and see the car because it had been almost 2 years since the car had left the Dallas area. Never got any pictures or return e mail after asking 3 times, but I did keep getting telephone calls about the car during the day, when I had told them in the e mail that I would NOT be available. When I asked the guy to please stop calling during the day while I was working and contact me in the evening as I had requested, he got a little gruff at which point I let him have it. He hung up somewhere in my bitching and cursing about him not being able to follow simple e mailed instructions about contact times and not providing the info I asked for. I was attempting to be a customer. They had that car for sale for another 13-16 months. Some people are in business in spite of themselves. There was alot more to this that set me off but that is the condensed version.

How can it be numbers matching if the 455 wasn't available in the 77??? What numbers match? HMMMM. Like the Chewbacca defense, that does not make sense. As far as tweed goes, looks awesome on an old Fender amp..not so good for the dashboard. Does it come with a disclaimer to dry clean only? Oh well, to each their own.

God, Bert. Isn't it obvious? It's a '77. One "7" matches the other "7". Numbers matching...hahahahaha:D
