77 cutlass supreme grilles

Does anyone have a really, really nice set of grilles for a 77 cutlass supreme? Bright chrome (not flaking), no cracks and mounting points intact:)

Sorry, I don't have any extra right now, but I do see them on the evilbay quite often. But now that I mention it, I looked and there aren't any there either. Must be a Murphy's Law thing.

I found a pretty decent pair in a junkyard on a 77 on Hooker Rd in south Chattanooga the other day

There is a header panel on ebay I think with grills.
Nope it says the grills are cracked

I've tried the "ebay way". I've been ebaying for a long time and never really had any problems with misrepresentation of an item. That is, until I started going to ebay motors to find parts. Used car salesmen could take lessons from some of these guys. I hope none of you sell used cars,because it doesn't apply to all, but some of the parts I've received are not all what was described. I have a garage full of junk that I can't use. It is very disheartening to open a box you've waited for and spent good money on, only to find you can't use it. :mad:
There are no mid 70's anything around here in the junkyards. They all say the same thing when I tell them what I'm looking for. They've all been crushed. A whole generation of cars gone. I found 50's and 60's, but no 70's.
Anyway, I guess I've "vented". Sorry to bend everyones' ear.

I have the same problem around here, I have been looking for a double hump trans crossmember and I get the same story. We used to have a lot of those cars but when scrap steel went up so high this year we crushed them. The only grills I have seen were at M&J on Hooker Rd. in Chattanooga on a baby blue/white int. 77 cutlass. I have the # at home I think if you want to talk to them I will get it.

I have 3 headers. Only one has good grilles. Chrome is good,its not flaking off but it's looks to be like it's "speckling" and has little nick on the one fin. If your back couple feet, you really don't notice but up tight you'll see it. Can send pics if you'd like. Russ

I have a nice set of grills, good chrome, good black paint between the lines, no cracks, all mounting points are good. Let me know if you are still looking for them and I can send pics if you want me too. Dave (ohio)
