All miles must have been acquired on figure 8 demo derby track. The eBay ad claims minor body damage so it must have been the winner.

Gonna take a lot of dough to fix that up. In 1976 the Cutlass S had the sloped front end.

Except for the Y76/W19 codes for the regional models.

It looks to me that the whole front clip on that car is from another car and not installed very well.
Seems to me if someone needed some interior parts or drivetrain (if the stated13,795 miles is accurate) that would be a good parts car for around $500. I think $1500 isn't going to happen. Of course it could continue as a derby car.

If you look at the engine pics, it still has it's orig hose clamps even on the water pump bypass hose!

Yeah that engine hasn't been messed with much. The interior still has original floor mats and the clear seat belt clips that help with the adjustment. It probably is 13,000 miles but rough miles. The door panels are beautiful too and I'm sure the rear plastic trim is probably pretty nice. If you had a clapped out interior this could be a good parts car. I couldn't see attempting to fix it even with the low miles.
They lowered the price to $1250.

Good point, and from the looks of it, it is a Y76 [roof treatment, argent wheels, chrome mirror, etc]. The clip does look like it's been replaced [poorly] and it's in pretty rough shape body wise, but it does look repairable.

I don't car how many miles it has the car is rough. The 13k miles were under water!
I bought my 75 for $750.00 and it is 3X the car this is!
you can check it out in the vbGarage!

I never said it was worth what they're asking, just that it does look fixable. Like texx said, $500 maybe. Plus it has the whopping 260 powerplant also :o . That right quarter looks like it was stuffed pretty good :( . It may be worth $1500 if the whole car looked as good as this pic:

I had said something about friend who's dad owned an Olds dealership in N.Y. Well I spoke to him today and he informed me that his dad passed and that ( are you sitting down?) TWO 77 Cutlass Supremes that have been in storage since new:eek: . Thats right they have never been sold or registered. He is going to sell them and let me know exactly when some time next week. Now he tells me that they were not stored properly and that they have lots of issues. They sat outside for a long time before getting into a garage. He claims they have rust just from the elements and dry rot in the interiors from the weather beating on them. They have less then 100 miles on the two of them. Along with the Cutlasses is a Toronado. Same situation same condition. I will let you all know more when I do. I told him I would like first shot at the cars. He does want to sell them as a pair. Depending upon what I find I may want to keep one and find someone to share the expense and take the other. The cars are in Western N.Y. If anyone is inrerested drop me a line.

Those old Olds sound pretty cool. Too bad they weren't stored in a little more car friendly manor. It would be interesting to see actual condition and how they've been built and optioned. Those Supremes could be worth something if they're coupes and have the 403. Loaded with options would be nice too. A 77 Toro could be a cool car and most likely is 403, loaded. My dad had one new back in 75, white with a oxblood red leather interior, he traded it in on a 77 Lincoln Towncar.

I am planning a trip back to N.Y. to see them. I intend to take pics and see exactly what they look like. The cars still have the window stickers in them and he will let me know what the have for options. He ordered them to keep so I would imagine they are pretty loaded. I knew this man well enough to know he never did anything cheaply. I will post the information as soon as I get more!:D
