upper control arm removal

hey all, quick question. the bolts that attach the front upper control arm to the frame. are those threaded through the frame or do you need to pound them out?

I don't remember them being threaded through the frame [it's been a while], may need to tap them out. You can leave the nut on towards the end of the threads to keep from messing them up. Or loosen the shaft and raise the arm and get on the front side of bolt with an impact. I'd keep track of where the shims are for re-install, at least camber/caster will be in the ballpark.
