I was just wasting time window shopping cars on eBay. I always love to look at cars I can't currently afford or have any place to store. You'd think 9 vehicles would be enough but I think it's a sickness with no known cure. So I'm looking at Pontiacs, yeah all of them, old and new, but I only click on the ones that catch my eye. I mean you can only look at so many GTOs before you go crossed eyed. I look at the 67s and 70s alot because I like those years and I always look at the 74s and 73s because they are relatively rare. Okay I'm getting to the point, I always look at the early 70s colonnade Grand Ams because I like those too. So I'm looking at this pretty nice 73 Grand Am,

and during the slide show I notice a familiar looking tailight flash by on a car in the garage. A 76-77 442, Cutlass S tailight. Thing is the car has a H/O identifier on the back and a larger decal on the rear quarter. A proposal car? Dealer modified car? Owner modified car? Interesting anyway, take a look. I dropped the seller a line and told him about the site, maybe he will check it out... if he's not already a member.
Oh yeah and check out the Vista Cruiser wagon with the OAI hood in front of the neighbor's house in one of the shots.:D I like those too.

Ive always liked the noses on that car and for some reason I love the slanted console. That would be a nice driver.

Speaking of Pontiacs...I think this Grand Prix is gorgeous. Very cool paint scheme.

The eBay seller of the Pontiac responded to my inquiry and checked out the site. His car is a regional edition, 77 Cutlass S with a 403. Heres what he wrote:
Hey thanks for the info. I just checked your site and I will need to check it out more in depth when I have time. Glad I did though, as in reading one of the posts I see that I put in the wrong body tag pic (oops) - the 69 Olds it is from is my red V/C in one of the background shots - Thats what I get for bad file management. Anyway the Cutlass is just an S model that I added emblems and decals to. It is a W-19 option, which I understand to be a special decor (brushed aluminum roof band and chrome plated sport mirrors). It has the 403 Olds motor, buckets/console w/ rallye guage cluster ans 76 K miles. I thought it would look a little different and get a little more attention. Roof and wheels are painted gold, with black/gold stripe scheme - I'm not trying to make it a Hurst knock-off, just give it a little interest. I think a 76 or 77 protoytpe was made at one point.

THX again for the info, I'll look into signing up as a member soon
Gee I wonder where that prototype he mentions is these days. Anyone know?:p

Sounds like a cool car, and probably rarer than he thinks with the 403.
