You might be my favorite Southerner!
“Once you have established the goals you want and the price you’re willing to pay, you can ignore the minor hurts, the opponent’s pressure and the temporary failures.” Vince Lombardi
I would say that this applies to Oldsmobiles, as well as life in general.
We are proud to have earned the right to go to the big one, and the Bears played like champions yesterday. It might have been one of the greatest games ever played, just under that MNF game in the snow right after Favre's father passed.

Was at the Bears/Packers game yesterday and the Bears played like crap. Cutler whined about his knee and our 3rd string had to come in and finally give them a run for their money. I'd have to say that the Bears didn't give the Packers a tuff game... Was fun to be there though.

Just curious about this from the Chicago Bears faithful. What is the overall opinion regarding Cutler in Chicago now?
He was the Denver Broncos QB for about 4 seasons until he and the new head coach McDaniels got into a very immature whining match. There was immaturity and attitudes on both sides. Cutler demanded to be traded and got his wish. McDaniels ultimately got fired for totally screwing up the organization. It will take at least two years to rebuild until the Broncos are competitive again. Cutler and McDaniels are not very highly thought of in Denver. Cutler usually had the "I'm great but if I have a bad game it's not my fault" attitude. He knows he still gets his multi million dollar salary. He doesn't interview well and is pretty stoic. It just doesn't seem like he's got real passion or drive for the game. Yes he's got a rocket arm and good scrambling ability but he also makes poor decisions by throwing into double and triple coverage. He usually gets intercepted in those situations. Ultimately it's the high competitiveness, team leader ability, and drive to win that makes a good QB great. I didn't see all of the game yesterday, but it sure looks like Cutler gave up on the game and his team. He was just standing by himself on the sideline with this total unemotional look on his face. Only he knows how his knee really feels. Just my .02.
Packers and Steelers will be a great Superbowl. Doesn't really matter to me who wins, but if I had to pick one I'd say Packers (not really a Ben Roth. fan with all of his off the field antics and poor decisions). Both teams look pretty evenly matched!

It's mixed, depending on who you ask. I personally think he's one of the best QB's Chicago has had in a long time. Growing up with crappy QB's since the 80's sucked. He may not be as good as some of the others in the league but he has been consistent so far, until last night. He does have that complex attitude and it did show last night. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but he is a type 1 diabetic and I heard that he's off sometimes, especially on a Thursday night game. I feel for him on that, I have someone very close to me that has type 1 and it's no fun watching the things they deal with. I think he may hold some things in emotionally so it may come out in spurts. All in all I am proud of him.
As for last night's game I have to say this though, I've never seen someone burn a jersey until last night leaving the game. I heard my buddy also burned his jersey, so now I think there is a different feeling about him. Watching the news last night and this morning, people are pissed. I think they are being way too critical but like you said, he only knows how his knee feels. Hey, it happens, and he has done a great job on the field so I'm not disappointed.
As for the superbowl, I don't like Ben either. I suppose I'd go for our rivals since I do have a lot of friends that are Packers fans and they are in our back yard. They also are one of those original teams that are owned by the fans not some corporation. I respect them.

Go Steelers.
Not really a Big Ben fan either. Too many people have told me he is a total a-hole and when his nose got broken I did have a smile on my face. Tough s.o.b. though.
Enjoy the Superbowl, may the best team win.
Go LIONS!!!!! Oh that's right ...go packers!
