Hey i recently acquired a 76 Cutlass S originally a 350 car i just swapped in a 455 i had left over from another project. So far everything is going smoothly. I have a performer intake, edelbrock carb, and headman coated headers with flowmaster dual exhaust. I also found a double hump crossmember from a 72 El Co that bolted right up. The car has floor shift and swivel seats. I plan on either rebuilding the current engine or buying a crate engine when i return from my up coming deployment. Any build feed back would be appreciated, Thanks in advanced Mike.

Welcome and good luck on the car. Hopefully you will keep it an Olds motor. My brother was stationed at Ft. Campbell for a while. I liked to visit his family there, did some nice bass fishing in an old quarry from time to time! :) Now he's stationed in Alaska.

Thanks Paul, and yes i am a die hard Olds man i wouldn't dream of destroying my car with a chubby boat anchor....I've seen a couple of 455 Olds crate motors that put out some decent numbers and seem to cost lest than building one. Plus i cant find any Olds engine builders in the region.
Welcome...I am a Newbie here myself and can tell you that this is a great site for getting questions answered. Thank you for your service!
