Bob and Joe. The black proposal should have an auto stick II shifter according to my records. Can you confirm? I have a January 22, 1973 letter from Hurst with a proposal. In the letter Hurst's proposal is to install their Auto Stick II in all 73 HOs. I am assuming Olds wanted Dual Gates. In the June 1973 Super Stock Magazine the black proposal car is described to have a "prototype Hurst automatic shifter".
