Alright guys, I am back after quite a while.
Sadly, my 74 Supreme is long since gone, but I a couple of months ago I picked up a 76 S that is waiting on some work. The seized 350 is out and a 455 is awaiting a build as soon as money comes around.

I just picked up 4 brand new tires so I can roll the thing in and out of the garage. They are BFG Radials, 235/70-15 up front and 275/60-15 out back, but I dont have any wheels to put on the car right now, so I am going to buy some cragar wheels. 15x7 up front and either 15x7 or 15x8 in the rear.
I was wondering if anyone could help me out determining what backspacing I should use front and rear (especially if I decide to go 15x8) for these tires, as I really am at a loss as to how many inches I should go.

Any help would be great! Thanks guys :D

I have 15x8 standard back space all around on my 1977 442. P 235/60-15 on the front and P255/60-15 on the rear. I have no issues at all with this combo and it has the original shocks and springs on it.

a 275/60 will fit no issue with stock backspace. You could even run a little less backspace in the rear to give the car a wider look. Just take a few quick measurements to confirm.
We will be running 315/35/20 in the rear of our 76 next year, & with a little time to confirm measurements, they will fit without mods. The car will also be lowered 2"
