Just joined the group from here in NJ. I Currently own an 87 Buick GN and am working on my brothers 83 HO. My first car was a 1975 Cutlass Supreme, and am now looking to purchase a 73 or 75 Hurst. Was wondering if you all could tell me what and average price paid for and average car might be. I have seen the Hurst Olds Club of America site and have looked at the prices printed there. Would like to know of any recent purchases from any that can help. Thanks, Paul

Paul-
Welcome to the forum!

Pricing is subjective as you would know based upon condition, rare options (v-code, etc) and documentation. H/O's run the guantlet of pricing. I've seen them start out as low as $2000 ish all the way up to 25k. Recent sales are tough to find, as people are not always inclined to show what they paid for a car.
If you are looking for a '73, I'd talk to Joe B. from Joe from N.J. He is in your home state and would be a good ref. for that year as he has a wealth of experience working on that year H/O. Joe posts about every day and you can just PM him on some things.

As for a '75, I know there are more than a few handful of guys out here that have them and know what to look for, but I'd be more inclined to just throw out questions as you have them in a post if you can not find the answer in older threads.

I know this may not be a big help, but its a start, and more importantly, welcome again.
Glad to see a GN guy can like our generation Olds..just like me.

I've been watching for our cars for sale, and I've seen nice, rust free cars going for as low as 8000, up to this awesome black 77 Supreme (LOW Miles) that brought 14K online auction.

Be picky, buy quality once, and don't look back.

Thanks Doug, that car looks like a beauty. I went to see a car near Atlanta yesterday, it was not as in nice a shape as advertised. I'll make a post with my findings in another section of the forum later.
