Guy says he has a case of these and selling them for $9.99 each to start. Looks like NOS parts to me. Says he has matching knobs too.

Aren't these also the same for '73?

I don't think so. 73 cars had a different layout on the controls for A/C cars. I used a center pod from a 73 A/C car and I had to change my face plate over because they were not the same.

73 and 74 are the same and I think 75 - 77 are the same. The 73/74 air cond. plates say OFF, AIR COND, VENT, HEATER, DEFROST. I think that's right (I'm going from memory here). For "normal" air conditioning setting, you put the upper control on air cond. and the temp. control one half inch away from COLD (a detent will be felt). You can then adjust the fan speed to whatever you want. If you want "maximum" air conditioning, move the temp. lever all the way to the left to full COLD. The fan will run on high speed regardless of the switch position. It may also pull air from the passenger compartment and recirculate it for more rapid cool down.

Also on air cond. cars with heat element rear window defogger, (don't know about non a/c cars - never owned one) with the rear defogger on and the defroster on, the fan will not run on high speed even if the fan switch is in the high speed position. This must be to prevent an overload of the electrical system.
