Found on AACA forums. Rooster Bush owns the #1 1974 H/O Pace Car and had an Olds store for many years. The Pace Car MAY be there.



The 7th Annual Gathering of the Buicks, Olds, Pontiacs and Cadillacs hosted by the Carolina Chapter of the Buick Club of America is planned for September 11th, 2010 at Rooster Bush Buick Chevrolet on Hwy 321 in Lenoir NC.

Has anybody been to this show before? It's almost a 4 hr drive for me. Is it worth the drive?:

I haven't. In fact, even though it's the 7th annual show, I had never heard of it before now.

It'll be at least a 2-1/2 hour drive for me and I'd be there strictly as a spectator. I'd be on the Gray Ghost wagon and it is a true daily driver, warts and all.

If anyone wants to meet up in Greensboro that morning let me know. Otherwise I'll take backroads to avoid I40 around Winston.

I would really like to see North Carolina Olds enthusiasts coalesce into an active club/group again. Distance is what upended us before. Mid Atlantic Chapter OCA is still chartered, but is almost completely dormant.

Truth be known, I never thought that name described us well anyway, but that's what the original membership voted for 20 years ago.

I'd like to go, but it's a 4 hour drive for me and I think I need to spend the time trying to finish my '76 for the Pigeon Forge thing the following weekend. If you go, let us know how big of an event it is and maybe we can get a group together for next year:)
