I thought I would throw this out there for the members here to read and as well as those who cruise thru this site and have not signed up to be a member here yet, but are guests.

The HVA- Historical Vehicle Association was formally approved/launched last fall and is actively seeking input.

Their goal is to keep yesterdays cars on today's roads.

They have developed a commission for the following areas of interest for our hobby in the USA.

Take the time and read this page and the Commissions links to the 4 categories.

Legislative- Congress, and State Legistlatures
Technical
Skills & Trade
History & Heritage

I would suggest that people here take a look at the HVA website, complete their survey as this organization has the backing of FIVA aka ( Federation International Ancient Vehicles- Laymen terms) This is a world wide auto club with serious clout in other countries to protect the hobby of the old car enthusiast.
Hagerty Ins. is involved- For the hobbyist/collector. Yes they are a business, but at least they are trying to gain a national foothold to represent the classic car world so we may be able to drive our cars for years to come.

Thats enough for me to want to throw this out for all of you to review.

They just want to get an idea of those who are involved in the hobby etc. Just do the quick survey so they can get an idea this summer on the hobby's various interests and needs.

The link to the survey is on the above link.

The link bellow is the article that appeared recently on HVA.

Anyhow... Just wanted to share.
