There was a local show tonight at a Diner five miles up the road from me. It wasn't a night I usually take the car out but it was cool and sunny so we went for coffee and cake. Only about 25 cars showed up tonight but it was the same ones that I usually see on Tuesday night at the Ice cream Castle..... Much to my surprise another Oldsmobile :eek:
Any Whoo..... I go over and strike up a conversation with the owner of a sweet 1970 442 dressed in red with black interior. BAMmmmmm thats when I look under the hood and he starts spouting off about its all original with a rebuilt numbers matching 455.......:rolleyes:
Sooooo I say yea looks good and you have 73 Olds valve covers they look good on it......

Dude you have an FA block!!!! And you have a blocked off exhaust crossover....
Yea man numbers matching too he says....
Ummmm excuse me the numbers are ground off the block......
