Thanks. I will be looking for vinyl top material myself in a few years. Retopped my car in 1983. I had McFall in Iowa City get me some material. I believe it to have been the correct vinyl top material for a white HO. My vinyl top guy (not McFall) would not put it on. He said it was inferior vinyl. Probably was, but it was original. I was young and followed his advice. I returned the material to McFalls never to be see the material again.

Anyone have a kleenex?

The problem I have ran into with the 73 HOs is no information. Until recently I have not been in contact with other 73 HO owners. I can only tell people what I know about my car. Can you tell me more about the cars? Is there a way to tell the Hurst car number? Do you have any more specific production information?

I don't know but I always thought that was the car number. What are the number typed in the upper right hand corner if not production or assigned number? I have not seen many of these sheets but none have had the same number.. hmmm?

I like how under the standard package the H/O decal gets its own bulleted fancy description,"mylar etching". They could have just added "with decal"to the first bullet but I guess they had to make it look like you got a lot for your $635.

I didnt mean to say it was mine. When I posted It I thought it was a copy of mine. When Eric did away with his site he recommended I keep some info for reference & I did. It is in the same folder as mine with consecutive image numbers. Ill change it & post mine .. Sorry for the confusion.. Joe

The Window sticker and supplemental price sheet Dennis had on ebay was vin 473996 and hurst number 1064. I have been tracking 73 HOs in a registery. I think this may be the only way to figure some of the information out. As far as researching my HO, I tried to research my HO last year and thought I had hit the jackpot. The dealership (Milo Barton Olds) was out of business, but the building owner had all the old records. As it turned out the records were discarded a few years ago and my search was done. I did talk to Milo himself, he said he sold an HO in 1973 from his dealership. That is where I ended up.

Joe,

This hurst number does not seem correct for your VINs for either car. Your car was built the same week as mine and Jon's.

I have no info for my car. When I bought it I received none.

It not from either of them cars. It was in another 73 H/O lot I bought. The car was striped for restoration and some one stole the car and he never recovered it. I have most of the car that he had left. Maybe I'll find the car someday. There is even a title.

Eric I'm glad your keeping score because , I have no idea about these numbers. Sometime I would like to take a look at them & see how the number corresponds to our cars.

Almost forgot. I have some used beltline molding if someone needs a sample of the correct molding. This is the stuff that goes under the chrome trim for the vynil top. In fact I also have some of that chrome trim that I`ll be selling soon. I may even have some extra NOS wheel well trim. I`ll have to check.
