Love the Michigan state police story.

....and it's a true one. I watched the video and I must have been nervous because I described my car as one of six imported into Canada but it sounds like I'm saying it's the only 1976 455 known to survive when I meant the only one in Canada, known to still survive. :o

Another error I heard was my car was all original.....except for the hood, trunk and digital tach.... The other faux pas I noticed, is when telling the Michigan State Police story I said I called "the girl" on my CB... what girl? The woman who was the contact with Oldsmobile, Cathy Delorenzo. Should have explained that better.

After hearing it, I was surprised the interviewer didn't ask "What girl?" The interviewer is not part of our club and just goes to shows and events and makes shows for DVD sales and local public television. But, yeah, the state police story was true and I thought was pretty cool. The police in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, were pretty cool. Lansing police were very patient with some centennial goers, believe me.
