Does anyone know how many '74 Convertible Cutlass based H/O's were made? I heard there were only two. Also, where are they now?

There were only 2 built. They were hand made and as such are not identical. Pace Care #1 is in the collection of Rooster Bush down in the Carolinas. PC #2 was sold at auction last year to a guy out in Il.

I had seen a couple of years ago where car #1 was in a museum at the Indy 500 (or somewhere similar) and the other car is owned by Jerry Remilinger ( i think he is in Illinois). Jerry sent photos to me for the Hurst/Olds W-Machines poster.

Any idea how much he bought the car for? I think that's the 1 car that i'd sell my H/O for.

I have no idea. It would be cool to own that car, that's for sure.

I think the car went for well under 100K, maybe around 65K.

The car sold for $82,000 to my good friend Joe Spagnoli. Here is a link for the car when we first got it .

Jerry Remlinger was the first owner of the car when he bought it from Oldsmobile. Since we have gotten the car we have just really detailed the hell out of the car and put on the correct Indy Decals on it. We had the car at the Hurst Nationals in 2006 and at the Indy Pace Car reunion last year.
Joe got a grat pic with Johnny Rutherford the Indy winner that year
The car is beautiful., and really fun to drive, also very fast.there are only 2 that we know exsist today but we know of 3 that were built and maybe a fourth from all the photos we have of the cars that Jeff Miester and myself have seen and gotten a hold of.

Cool websites Angelo.
Is there a top to it at all? Looks like the rear might be a removable hard "cover". Where is this car now? looks like the auction was in Boca Raton, FL?
1 last question. What makes it NON street legal?

Thanks.. It's an awesome car.
