Does anyone know which header brand actually fits into a 76 cutlass supreme/s with a olds 350. I already bought and tried the hedman full length headers #58060. There is no way these babies were close to fitting. Didn't know if flowtechs #11150flt or hooker 3901hkr, or even dynomax #85030 fit any better. Or would shorty headers be better. Thanks

I had the same set of headman headers they dont come close to fitting on passenger side. I have a set if any wants them one tube is slightly crushed but i would send them out for shipping costs only. I went with Sanderson shorties they fit great have not leaked I have 2,000 miles on car. I can easily get my started and oil filter out. car runs good went 13.21 last night fighting lean condition in top of 2nd, and all of third.

Just curious. Where were they hitting/interferring ? Did you remove the oil filter and mount ?

yes removed oil filter and mount. Were hitting on passenger frame. Not even close. Would have to collaspe a hole to make work.

Ok. And just for clarifications sake, not doubting you, just asking.
You removed the stiffening cross bars underneith ?
You had the front jacked up high so you could slip the header in from underneith ?
Agsin, not doubting you, just asking.

Yes did all that. I even tried putting on headers and dropping in the rebuilt engine all at the same time. No luck . Also tried dropping engine in with headers already in engine compartment. No luck. Then with engine in, I raised car and motor, took off oil filter and mecadism, and the bar you are referring to (these were all off with ever process i tried). No luck. Like I said, I would have collaspe a whole tube and maybe a little on another to make these fit on pass. side. They were hitting the frame of car. Driver I had little problem with.
If you could afford them the Hooker 3" adjustable are probably the best headers for Olds A bodies. I will get those next time, after having to heat up and hammer my Headman's in order to get them to fit into my 73 Supreme.

I have headers from Hooker Headers. This is the 350 part number 3901HKR. There is a rumor that they wont fit a Supreme, but that is false mine fit fine. I also have a BB set in my 73 and they are fine. I have a set of Flowtechs in my 82 and I hade to grind the header flange, ear on the tranny and some edges off my G-Force crossmember. So I do not recommemnd FlowTechs at all...... I have had the headers on a 76 and a 73 both with BB engines since 1994.
