Bought my matching window today.
Would the passenger door glass be the same from a 74 Malibu to a 74 cutlass?

The midsize 73-77 GM Cars (Cutlass, Chevelle/Malibu, Century, Regal, Lemans, Grand Am) were A-Body. The downsized Cutlass and other models starting in 78 were G-Body.

Anyway, to answer your question about the passenger door glass, yes it will interchange if you stick with the same body style. Look at the VIN's of the cars. Digits two through four should be G37 or F37 on both cars (fastback body style) or J57 (notchback or formal roofline body style). If you mix n' match windows with the body styles, the window will fit in the door, but you'll have problems rolling up the window and sealing to the roof. You'll end up with some pretty big gaps and/or clearance problems.

Hope this helps.

I will try to help make it easier ........ since I am new to Oldsmobile's just make sure the back window DOESN'T have the pointed window, not knowing which code is which that's why I put it in laymen's term's ( AND TO NOT STEP ONTO ZODIACBLUE442'S TOES )

and be careful with the monte exchange as well they will not interchange due to the roofline as well but if the malibu has the same rear window as your's it should interchange, If not try the 74 pontiac's I believe they had the pointy rear as well
