Hello everyone. I bought a 77' 442 back in april of 09'. That was when i joined this group and registered my car. The reason for this post is I just bought a 77 pace car. Actually the one in California that has been on Craigs list for about 6 weeks. He lowered the price and i bought it. He said he had to fight off the kids who wanted to buy it and put 22's on it. He wanted it to be restored not molested. Its still in cali, at my girlfriends moms place. Be making the trip after schools out and drive it back. I guess what i am wondering about is the interior, as far as i can see from pictures the front seat is trashed. It has high miles and the seats are ripped and faded. The body is perfect and no rust. So I decided i would rather deal with interior issues than rust. Of course you know it has the firethorne interior. I am hoping to find a rusted out donor car. (Easy to find in Michigan huh?);) Will a 4 door front and rear seats fit? I would assume they are the same. But i guess you never know. Does anyone have any lines on seats or a complete donor car? and i have to ask, also need right side grille section for my 77 442. And i guess supposed to list what i have:
77 delta 88
77 442
87 monte ss aero
83 hurts olds
99 F250
09 Xterra
98 F150 for sale
65 VW dune buggy
68 VW beetle for sale (need to make room for the delta)
Oh, and my fathers 48' chevy fleetline aerosedan. Inherited. Possibly for sale too. Needs to be driven and enjoyed by someone. Sad to see it go, but i dont have the time for it or space. The car is huge.

Good luck finding a 77 around here. (Michigan) Seems most of the cars from the 70"s are long gone. The few I have seen had all the windows broken out an rotted interior. Also I believe 4 door cars front seats dont flip forward.

I am, at the present, dismantling a 76 Buick Regal with burgandy interior. The front seat is a 60/40 split bench. The interior is identical to the Cutlasses, except the color is a little off. The seats are velour and the material is getting worn, but still look good. Never wet and still in good shape. I'm sure I couldn't ship the seats, but if you want them and someone could swing by here, I could make you a good deal on them. What other parts do you need? I'm close to Nashville, Tn

I will swing by where I know there is a pace car eventually (spring is gonna be mucky) and check the interior. I'm not holding my breath as I think one or both doors are gone.

Those seats are darker than the firethorn. And they have vinyl on the sides of the seating area. They are close though. I do have to agree about the 4 doors probably wouldnt flip forward but wonder if the frame and hinge mechanism can be swapped. You can still find some old 70's cars around northern michigan. Lots of them with fancy paint jobs and 22's on them south of here. But alot of them went to the demo derby. I know its a stretch trying to find some decent seats around. But i do know that you are not going to find anything unless you ask. Last resort is to get them reupholstered. I got awhile to look. It needs to be painted yet. And its still in cali for a few months till i drive it home. I was going to post some pictures but havent figured out the "enter the url of your image". Tried copy and paste and that didnt work. Big fancy radio in it too. Will have to find a decent 8 track for it. Found 8 track for the 442 that i have to put in this spring.

77 Cutlass do you have lower door panels from that buick? The ones in my 442 are scratched up pretty bad and I'm looking for replacements. I also happen to live close to Nashville. Clarksville to be exact, and could come pick them up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
