I've been looking for a nice, undamaged set of 1975 Cutlass Bumper Impact Stips.
(One piece for front and 3 piece for rear.)

I decided to reuse the front strip, but I still need rear ones.
Can anybody help me locating a set?

Just for info, all 1974-75 rear bumpers, and 1976-77 4-door sedan rear bumpers use the same rub strips.

That doesn't necessarily make them any easier to find. If you get used ones (you may have to buy a complete bumper to get them) make sure to juice the studs with some PB Blaster or other strong penetrating oil, wait a couple days and then use an impact wrench to loosen the nuts. Even then it's 50/50 whether the nuts will come off and not spin the studs in the retaining strip.

For cars that "nobody wants", people will sure go stupid over rub strips on ebay and at swap meets. I bid a horseshoe to almost $250 a couple years ago and still lost it. Think it went for close to $400.

Yes, that's correct.
I already have two rear bumpers, but I still can't make a set. :(

`74 and `75 rear bumper rub strips are smooth rubber with no grain pattern in them. `76 and `77 rear bumper rub strips have a very fine grain texture in them. Obviously they will still fit. This may fall under the category of "who cares" :D but I just learned this a few months ago comparing early and late rub strips side by side.

Thanks Gary, that's a new bit of information for me.

My parents' 76 S sedan bought new by them had smooth rubber bumper strips. Maybe a midyear change or assembly plant thing?
