Here are a few pics of the Cutlass 'Edge' I grew up in and talked about in my first post in the introductions forum (new member in ohio) with some details listed there. Also wanted to post them here as some people read different forums sometimes.

Mom asked that she not be posted online, so I kinda obliged. I, on the other hand, have no problems with me being posted in the wonderful baby blue suit. I have a pic of the nose somewhere, and me in the same suit, and will post it whenever I locate it. This was a cool car, sorry the pictures don't show more details. As I find more, I will post them.

I love talking about this car, since it was in the family until 1987. Any questions or comments, I am willing to share as much as I can (and can remember)

In the Pacific Nothwest region we had a Northwest edtion Cutlass S. Different regions of the US had this same group of special options but by different names.

Did the car have chrome sport mirrors. I remember a car in the Chicagoland area called the GMO it had chrome sport mirrors.

I believe it actually had silver sport mirrors that matched the paint on the car.

Of course some of the color codes would be different for 77.

Cool car and pics! I dig the "old school" photos. I've got a bunch of old pics of my second car [bought in 1980], a blk/gld 76-442. I'm gonna try and get them put on a disc and get them on the computer.

You can read more on the Y76 marketing option on my site. There's a nice compilation about it by 73-77 oldslist member Richard Ross:

Jim, is there a way for me to have a scanned copy of that manual?
I have the 1975 edition and I've found it the far most reliable source of information.
It would help my work on the 73-77 Cutlass Registry.

I only need the few pages with the A-body UPC Codes.
