The correct answer is MAYBE.

You did not say what the backspacing of the weels is. Typically TTDs do not have much backspacing with 3.5" being typical on their 8 & 8.5" wheels. In order to get those tires to fit you will need a rim with atleast 5.5" of backspacing; 6" BS would be better.

I run 275 60 15s on mine on an 8.5" rim with 4.75" of BS (going off memory) & they just fit inside the wheel lip but there is lots of room towards the frame.

I ran 295-50-15's om my stock rallies on my 76 and now on my 73. My buddy runs them on a Chevy Elcamino he turned into a wagon with Centerline rims. They are 8' rims and not sure of the BS but the fit good.....

Thanks guys, I will see if I can get the tourque thrusts with a 5 or 5.5" backspacing.

5" BS on a 10" rim will NOT be enough....it will hit the lip. THINK MORE BS!

295s on a 7" wide rim....wow.

255s are the MAX approved on a 7" rim.

275s are pushing it and 295s can only be described as ill advised.

15x10 rims with 295-50-15 will fit as long as you have 5.5 backspacing. I ran this size for a little while on my 75 and it fit like a glove. It will fit fine on your 76 as long as the backspacing is 5.5 inches.

The back space on my 1976 Laguna was only 4.5" and had no rub issue what so ever..........and when the slicks were on the tir never hit at all the tires were 295/50/15 (street) and 28 x 10.5" x 15" for slicks

this first pic is of slick mounted and there was no rubbing what so ever and the BS was only 4.5" on a 10" wide rim
