There goes the "forum" neighborhood...

Just Kidding. Welcome Angelo. The stolen H/O's have been discussed, we are all waiting, hoping and praying they don't suffer too bad a fate.

I did just get word the '79 was found and was somewhat stripped, but not completely.

It really is a sad situation. Hopefully the rest of the cars turn up and the owners can start with rebuilding , restoring their cars. Left a pit in my stomach the rest of the meet.
We all go to car shows and feel comfortable around our fellow olds ethusiast, car owners, and friends, and you get complacient. Heck I have a great alarm on my car and didn't have it on,don't know the last timeI used it at any event, plus I went backout at 2 am just to lock my doors cause I forgot and wasn't worried, and still I did not put on my alarm, and I used to lock my lightning rods all the time so if they got in the car it would already be in drive and they couldn't shift them.
Its a wake up call to all of us. Lesson,If you have a security device use it, if you don't get one, time is the most valuable asset to a car thief, if you can slow him down he will most likely look for an easier target and move on. Its really sad, but this is what we've come down to.
As fellow Oldsmobile owners and ethusiast we need to stick together and help one another, hopefully all the post on allthe differant Olds sites helps, you know what they say out of site out of mind. Well this tragic event will not be the case.
Lets hope the owners will be reunited with their cars soon.

Our eyes are watching Angelo.

Welcome to the board.
Maybe we can persuade our fellow Oldsmobile bretheren to purchase a nice mid 70's Colonnade ?? Hmmmmm?? LOL...

I've seen your FE3X on the web for some time, I am sure she is a sweet G body.
Take care.
