After 3hrs of scrubing, and some armor-all, my dash loks great. But, the corners by the speaker covers are curled up. Anyone else have this problem and how'd you fix it? I've got a tan one pulled from a 73 with the same curled spots. My idea was an iron and a damp towle. Gonna put the dash back together soon but not till the thing is flat.

I don't think that is fixable. Mine was curled like that and then it cracked not long after I cleaned it up. It cracked that huge crack in 2 days. It was very sticky when I bought the car, separated by the radio and coming unglued and hanging down under the glove box. Common Cutlass dash problems, especially the split bythe radio.
Mine is also so mis-shapen that the glove box doesn't close all the way. Just look at the picture. I hate it because I have to look at it everytime I get in the car. The red and saddle tan dashes and sport wheels have the most softeners in the plastic when they were molded originally. Green has alot too. Over time after sitting in the sun along time it starts to exude from the plastic and this causes the plastic to shrink and deform. I just don't think you can fix it. I have another dash for my car that I will soon dye and install and I'll try to put some pictures of it on here. It is black and in perfect condition. Good luck with trying to fix yours.

The whole front edge of mine was curled up. I cleaned the mating surfaces up good and glued the front edge back together. I think I used plastic and emblem adhesive and clamps. I also used a few rivets afterwards that are covered by the speaker/defrost panel. Has held up fine over 5 years now. If you have the dash out it will be real easy to do, I just tilted mine back.

I got an error message. It wouldn't let me attach the picture. It says I have already attached it in the thread 75 H/O interior help. So I guess the dash picture is in that thread. I had no idea you couldn't use the same picture more than once.
