We had our show yesterday in Olds. We set a record with 75 cars with the longest distance coming from the Vancouver area. Here are a few shots.

There are a lot of individual shots but the fellow who took the shots made sure he got all the cars. There were 75 cars and some are multiple shots. Hope you enjoyed these.

It's starting to pick up at work and we still got our 6 month bonus so it's still good. They're also say we should be one of the first country's to emerge from the ressession. In Edmonton and area houses are up $35,000 since last year at this time. Glad to hear that it's going good in your area.
The show was great. Great weather again. (for the show) Once I got back to Shewrood Park and put the car in the garage, we got hit by 60 mile and hour winds and hail. A tornado did touch down just east of us. My neighbour lost some shingles on his roof, and trees were toppled or snapped in half but my trees weatherd the storm and my shingle job last month held firm. Glad I got home just in time.:D

Good looking show. All Olds-got to love it. The small car show I attended on Sunday had about 40 cars and only 1 Olds. It was a sweet 76 Cutlass from Virginia.

Nice show! So cool that the town is named Olds. Is that highway 2 I see in the background? I wanted to tell you that my son saw your car at a show in Edmonton a few weeks ago, he called me to say he saw a Cutlass at a car show that he thought was the one from Massey Drive. He said the owner wasn't around at the time. He's working at the base in Cold Lake for the summer.
Small world.

Where was he? I was in a little town called Westlock last weekend. They had 175 cars. The week before that was at a mall, again with about 175 cars. The hwy in the background is Hwy 27. Left takes you to the mountains, right takes you to Hwy 2 which is the main corridor between Edmonton and Calgary. So is your son in the military or is he a civilian working at CFB Cold Lake?

Thanks Todd. The Mayor is a big supported of our club. Town council gave us $1500 to buy golf shirts and the Mayor comes to our show every year and hands out a prize as the "Mayor's Choice". The cops show up and let people sit in their car and hand out fridge magnets of the RCMP and drunk driving awareness brochures. They kid with the people which is a lot of fun and let the kids put the siren and lights on now and then. The town population is about 7,500. The Royal Canadian Legion also puts on a great banquet for us. It's a great show. This year it was just bigger.

I think it was Saturday June 27th at a park in or near Edmonton that he saw your car. He's working as a civilian at the air force golf course for the summer and staying on the base with his cousin who is in the military. Its a great chance for him to experience a different part of the country. AHH if only I was 18 again......

Oh that was the Borden Park show. About 600 cars parked between the trees. That was my first time going to that on. Sorry I missed him, buy yeah, that was me. As usual there was no other 1973-77 Cutlass there.:)
