Ok just found another thing I need

I am in need of the spring that goes to the hood release. This is the one that mounts on the core support and keeps the lock in the hooks teeth. I would like the whole hood lock if possible. How fast can you put it in the mail? I almost have the all the way together.:) :)

sorry if i came off the wrong why in first post. Does anybody have a hood lock part laying around they want to get ride of? I am going to check local junk yards today. But being in michigan most of these cars are gone.

I probably have what you need, you can just add it to the the other stuff you need to return :) . Lets see, where we at, a bucket seat and a rear bumper shock, right?......... JK :D ..............Can't wait to see the car!!!!

well I got lucky Todd I forgot about warhoops junk yard. I do not know if you ever heard of them. I went there yesterday and found a spring. I would like to find a complete hood lock set-up but no luck. I did learn that olds looks to have there very own lock set-up. I seen a 76-77 Grand Prix, a 76-77 regal and century, a 75-77 elcamino and few others, they were not like olds.
I will be looking at cars at shows to see if any are set-up like olds.
