Well this was fun. Came off ok. Note the frame
Bad news. Cowl is rotted out nicely.
Good news. Frame has no holes or really crazy rust.

Wow, looking at the sheetmetal on the original pics you posted you wouldn't think the frame was that bad. It looks like it may be repairable to me though. The motor looks nice, at least your making some progress.

yeah.. looking at the fender i would have never thought the frame would be that bad either. SO now what? new frame or repair that one?

Father is an insurance appraiser... as such, he and I know most of the local shops.. Find someone with a frame machine and see who wants to touch it.

Yah, I have a piece if need be. I also have another frame, but I'd rather straighten mine if I can, both because it's mine, my body would still need to be straightened if on another frame...
And I can only imagine the abortion I'd have going in my driveway with two bodies and two frames swapping back and forth. :rolleyes:
