They said the rear bumper has a rust hole, that reminds me back in high school I lived 15min south of Lake Michigan and the salt out there was murder! Most of the 76-77 cutlasses lost their rear bumper all together and people would replace them with a 2x8 piece of oak board and screw the license plate on in the middle! Strange but true....

Not bad looking at all. Different color combo, I like it. If I was in the market, this would be one to investigate.

Good looking car. I like the lt. blue and white. Even the rear bumpers out here in CO rusted after awhile. Just a bad design where the inner liner trapped dirt and road grime. Back when my brother had his `77 442, he saw a rough `77 442 in an apartment parking lot. Total rust bucket (the 2x8 wooden rear bumper looked good though), dents and dings in nearly every body panel, trashed interior, but PERFECT grilles. My brother tracked down the owner and offered to buy the grilles plus put in a set of perfect `76 grilles that my brother bought out of a junk yard. The owner flat out refused saying that he wanted to keep the grilles because as soon as he could afford it, he was going to restore the car. About a 1 in 100 million chance that car got restored. I'm convinced those extremely rare grilles ended up in the giant car masher.

I too like the color combo... and how the guy says that although he has never tried the junkyard for parts, that there is MUCH more available there. Riiiight, just go pick up some usable white door panels and a bumper or two. No problem.
No reserve, no bids and starting at $999... looks pretty good.
